a england fated prince (burne-jones dream)

after briarwood, sleeping palace, rose bower and briar rose,  i'm adding fated prince to the collection of a england burne-jones dream collection swatches.

i do love a england's holos, they really are a thing of beauty. for me, charcoal grey is a great option for a holographic polish, it really gives a twist to dark shades.

a england's idea was for it to resemble "the tempered steel of a hero's blade". the holographic effect is not muted even in shade, but at sunlight it really becomes alive. formula is great, as usual for their polishes.

a england briarwood (burne-jones dream)

the polish of the day is the gorgeousness that is briarwood from a england burne-jones dream collection!

i have to say, i liked this polish just from looking at the bottle, but i was so amazed when i actually had it on my nails! it is described as "burgundy base colour, filled with ultra-fine prismatic particles that reflect every facet of light". i already had sleeping palace, rose bower, and briar rose on.

the base color is amazing on it's own, and even though i love crazy holos, the subtleness of the holo shimmer is what gives this polish the wow effect. it looks like the mist raising from the nails. i could go on for a long time describing how much in love i am, but i'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

formula is standard a england perfection, nothing to complain about.

a england sleeping palace (burne-jones dream)

it's time for my third polish from a england's burne-jones dream and my choice is sleeping palace, since i've already shown briar rose and rose-bower.

sleeping palace is poetically described by a england as "an unnatural twilight has fallen upon the land" - a plum/coppery base hue filled with vivid prismatic life, as though mocking the eternal slumber of the entire castle". not sure if i've ever used "plum" to describe a colour, i am more of the "eggplant" kind of girl, but there it is.

this polish is one of those "looks black from afar", but it is quite obvious that it is not. i love it, it looks so rich and deep with the scattered holo effect that a england does best. formula is flawless.

a england rose bower (burnes-jones dream)

today i am showing yet another a england polish, rose bower from burnes jones dream collection. this is how they advertise it: "a true deep rose hue kissed with subtle holographic overtones, a scarlet riot of blooming life to keep the princess company"

i already showed one polish from this collection, briar rose, and they have a similar pattern: a gorgeous, deep colour (in the case of rose bower, a cranberry red with some hints of fuchsia) with the scattered holo effect that gives the "inner glow effect", that a england produces beautifully.

formula is amazing as usual, and the polish itself is so pretty that i was shocked that i can enjoy a red one so much! it also looks nice in shade.

a england briar rose (burne-jones dream)

every day is a good day for an a england holo, and today i'm presenting briar rose from the burne-jones dream collection. their description: ""her lips a ruby glow of life, while she lays lost in time" - a cranberry/scarlet base hue bearing a slight milky sheen and a gently ladylike prismatic demeanor, evidence of a still-beating heart."

it is another gorgeous scattered a england holo, briar rose, better kown as sleeping beauty.

the shade is somewhere between red and purple, filled with tiny holo particles that give it a misty, gorgeous look. with the outstanding formula and application, this is definitely another a england's gems.
