a england princess sabra (the legends)

today, i am again going with a polish that i swatched ages ago but never got around to posting about it. the polish in question is princess sabra, from a england's fantastic the legend collection.

for this polish, i can definitely say i have nothing like it in my gigantic collection. it is a strange shade, somewhere between olive green and gold, with not to crazy holo effect. it is much more yellow in the bottle than on the nail.

it is definitely a unique shade that i guess doesn't appeal to everyone, but i really like it. it is strange and delicate at the same time, not to gold and flashy. and, of course with the signature a england amazing formula.

opi ds mystery (designer series 37)

remember those days when opi's designer series was the most exotic type of nailpolish you could find? one of those is mystery, back in 2010.

i love mystery, it is kind of vampy with a twist. i know it may be underwhelming with all the bling we can get nowadays, but there is something in its colour combination that really strucks a cord with me.

it is described as deep purple with golden flakes, but it's more leaning to the eggpant side. the flakes are somewhat duochromatic, but it depends on light. i should definitely try it with a matte top coat, i believe it would make this effect more prominent. formula is still quite solid.

frankenpolish: starbwoy by shine eye

the time has come for my personal favourite franken polish, star bwoy.

i am completely amazed as how star bwoy turned up to be. the shade itself is gorgeous, light purple with medium blue undertones. and the holo effect just makes everything so awesome, like it's dancing on top of the nail.

for some reason, while my frankening was only half way done, but i knew which polishes i'm waiting for, i just knew that i will name it after mavado's song star bwoy.

sorry for all the pictures, but it's just so stunning!

butter london henley regatta (?)

i remember the period when i was obsessed with butter london polishes. they were hard to get though, i bought one or two every time i went to germany, when they were still available in douglas. henley regatta was on the top of my  wish list, but i can't seem to find when was it released.

because i have it for so long, i know that it is definitely a polish one should use as a topper. if i remember correctly, you can't get full coverage even with three layers. it is gorgeous as a topper though.

henley regatta is a mermaid, ocean-like green blue and green glitter suspended in a clear base. as i said, it is quite dense, but i would not wear it on it's own. here it is layered over china glaze tounge and cheek.

zoya mimi (sparkle)

sparkle is a really awesome zoya's collection from back in the summer of 2010, and mimi is one of it's stars. another beauty from this collection is ivanka.

mimi is described as a royal purple metallic polish, but this is just an oversimplified way to explain this awesome polish.

not only that the purple shade is so rich and deep, the shimmer in it gives it a lot of depth. the formula is also good, no brushstrokes whatsoever.
