opi every month is oktoberfest (germany)

wow, i have no idea how is it possible i still haven't swatched every month is oktoberfest from opi's germany collection, but here it goes.

every month is oktoberfest (emio) is already a legendary polish and there are so many posts written about it that i am really stuck now. opi describes it wih: " prost! here’s to the prettiest plum in the biergarten."

it is stunningly gorgeous. a dark, purplish/red base with rich red and gold shimmer. it is so rich and vampy and pretty and a definitive must have in any girl's collection, whatever her colour preferences.

dance legend danger danger (wow prism)

today's choice is the gorgeous danger danger from dance legend's amazing collection wow prism that you can see on the photo below. i've already shown amazing steel panther and through the glass from the same collection.

at some point i realized i'm missing a bright, but saturated raspberry red holo, and i immediately knew that i should search for it among the dance legend collections. it didn't take me long to realize that danger danger is exactly what i was looking for!

i'm really impressed with dance legend holos, whether they are scattered as this one, ore linear like android, and i guess i'll always turn to them for this types of polishes.

ysl gris graffiti (urban escape)

gorgeous gris grafitti belongs to ysl's trio of polishes from the urban escape collection for summer 2018.

gris graffiti is an absolutely gorgeous shade, equal parts blue and grey. the formula is flawless and the shade itself both fresh and moody. i love it so much, i really need to wear it more often!

zoya ivanka (sparkle)

ivanka is a part of zoya's amazing sparkle collection from spring 2010.

zoya's description: "mermaid green sparkling metallic. an expensive-looking metallic shade for summer. "  it is a rather complex color to describe - the base is emerald green, with gold and and lighter green flecks and additional green shimmer. it has a duochrome effect, which i hope i managed to capture in some of the pics; it can look more green or yellow depending on the lighting and the angle.

i already mentioned that i love everything by zoya, so this one wasn't an exception. great formula, great application!

picture polish magic (collaboration shade)

in these trying times, when we are all scared and panicky, it is time for a little bit of magic, so i am showing just that, from picture polish collaboration shade with lakkomlakkom.

magic is a very unique and complex polish. duochrome, switching from  rose gold to a sort of beige shade, with holographic shimmer that looks like it's floating on top of the nails. stunning! hope that the gloominess of the day at least enhanced the duochrome complexity.

dior gris trianon (cherie bow)

gris trianon is the only non-pink polish in dior's cherie bow collection for spring 2012.

i love dior's grey polishes and it seems like i can't resist them. this one is more of a greige, a combination of grey and beige, and it looks really pretty on nails.

the formula is flawless and there is nothing to complain about. i love wearing polishes like this when i feel like i want to be a bit more serious.

china glaze blue iguana (island escape)

blue iguana is a super old china glaze polish, from their island escape collection back in summer 2011.

blue iguana was, sadly, my only pick from this collection. i wish i got more, because i became a huge fan of this particular finish, that was collection's theme. blue iguana is it's gem though. a gorgeous electric blue shade, with turquoise flecks, it looks almost unreal. the foil-like finish makes it look like a duochrome as well.

the formula is a little bit on a sheer and runny side. after two coats, you still have some visible nail line, but i find it looks interesting so i don't bother with the third coat.

opi solitaire (bond girls )

it's been a while since i wore a textured polish, so i guess it's time for solitaire from opi's bond girls collection.

i really wanted a white textured polishes that had just a little bit of bling to it, and solitaire is perfect! opi's description: "this diamond-sparkling white is totally engaging."

the base is soft, pearly white with just the right amount of silver flecks. it is as good as any other opi liquid sand in terms of application and wear (which means excellent). the polish is completely dry after about 15 min.
